Building the Future of Agribusiness: Sefapcol’s Surulere Agropark Begins Operations

Sefapcol Ltd is thrilled to announce the commencement of operations at our new Surulere Agropark, marking a bold step in building the future of agribusiness in Nigeria.

The Director of SEFAPCOL Ltd, Dr Nnaemeka O. Obiaraeri, officially confirmed that work has begun on establishing a 10,000–20,000 capacity Smart Snail Farmhouse in Surulere, alongside a 10,000-tree spicy habanero orchard and a 5,000-tree bell pepper orchard.

This state-of-the-art facility will drive upstream production of African Giant Snails and fresh vegetables — the key ingredients for premium peppered snail delicacies.

Two 28-square-meter porta cabin units are also being set up to:

  • Process and package peppered snails for takeaway orders
  • Separate shells, meat, and slime
  • Convert shells into calcium meals for animal feed
  • Extract snail slime for beauty and skincare manufacturers

SEFAPCOL aims to expand this Smart Snailry to a 1 million capacity within the next 18 months.

If you have a strategically located space close to major markets, we welcome collaboration opportunities.

At SEFAPCOL, we think solutions — we feed the nations.
